Review
FineCrypt is a very easy to use program. FineCrypt creates encrypter self-extracting archives which can be decrypted without using this program itself, for example, if the program is not installed on the computer on which you want to decrypt. FineCrypt also allows you to encrypt files, directories and whole directory trees by using a password or a key.
You can encrypt some files into a single encrypted archive, or into different encrypted files. With FineCrypt archives the user can work in the same way as he works with zip archives. The user can add files or remove them from an archive and decrypt desired files.
With FineCrypt the user can create encrypted and not encrypted self-extracting executable files.
The user can apply for the encryption his own encryption key, which will be used for encryption without any further transformation. Usually many existing encryption products perform the encryption with a key generated from user's password. FineCrypt makes possible to perform encryption with the password and with the key specified by the user.
The user can choose for encrypting any of these algorithms: AES, Blowfish, CAST-256, GOST, IDEA, MARS, RC-6, Serpent, Triple-DES and Twofish; also ONE (you) can use any of THESE four encryption modes: Electronic Codebook, Cipher Block Chaining, Cipher Feedback and Output Feedback. |
